The Lifestyle
Days here often start on the water. Dive and fishing charters leave the Boynton Harbor Marina for reefs fed by the Gulf Stream, paddlers explore the Intracoastal, and Oceanfront Park is a short drive across the bridge.
The Market
Homes range from waterfront condos and Intracoastal properties in the east to early cottages near downtown, mid-century ranch homes, and gated golf and lake communities in the west, with new construction still rising.
The Appeal
Boynton Beach puts ocean access, a revitalized downtown and wide-open preserves in one city, and I-95, the Turnpike and a Tri-Rail station make it easy to reach West Palm Beach, Boca Raton and beyond.

Becoming A LocalOwning In Boynton Beach
Boynton Beach takes its motto, America’s Gateway to the Gulfstream, from how close the warm current runs to shore. The Boynton Inlet, opened in 1927, links the Intracoastal Waterway to the Atlantic, and the nearby Boynton Harbor Marina is the launch point for dive boats, fishing charters and waterfront dining. Across the Intracoastal, the city’s Oceanfront Park offers a lifeguarded beach with picnic areas. Downtown, Ocean Avenue mixes locally owned restaurants with Town Square, where a restored 1927 landmark now houses the Arts and Cultural Center. Out west, Green Cay Wetlands and nearby Wakodahatchee add miles of boardwalk through cypress and marsh.
Housing in Boynton Beach changes as you travel west. Near the coast, condominium towers and Intracoastal homes with private docks sit close to the inlet and marina. Around downtown, older streets hold early twentieth-century cottages and bungalows, along with Mediterranean Revival landmarks such as the 1925 Boynton Woman’s Club designed by Addison Mizner. Between US-1 and I-95 you’ll find mid-century ranch homes alongside newer townhome infill. West of Congress Avenue and out past the Turnpike, master-planned communities with gates, clubhouses, lakes and golf courses spread across former farmland, and new construction continues to fill in.
